Description:

"Good dark red. Highly complex nose melds black cherry, dark berries, menthol and licorice; less floral today than the 2006 but nicely precise nonetheless. Sweet, suave and perfumed in the mouth but a bit youthfully tight today, and showing less flesh and fullness than the velvety 2006. But the wine's smooth tannins arrive late, allowing the fruit to build slowly and the wine's perfume to linger subtly. Way less evolved than the 2007 Napanook cuvee, but that's as it should be. As the blend was only recently made, it's also very early to assess Dominus 18 months after the harvest."
